Day 1 — Marrakech → High Atlas (Tizi n’Tichka) → Ait Ben Haddou → Ouarzazate → Dades Valley
Early departure from Marrakech crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (7,415 ft). Stops at scenic viewpoints and Berber villages along the way. Arrival at Ait Ben Haddou (UNESCO), the iconic adobe kasbah and famous film location.
- Ait Ben Haddou: walk through its fortified ksar and enjoy panoramic views of the valley.
- Ouarzazate: the “Gateway to the Desert,” home to the Taourirt Kasbah and film studios.
